Remember the feeling of walking into a video store on a Friday night?
Flipping through a Scholastic book order. Watching Mary-Kate & Ashley on VHS. Collecting Beanie Babies. Reading Goosebumps under the covers. Buying magazines because your favourite celebrity was on the cover. Burning CDs and gifting them to your friends, carrying around a tiny purse that barely fit anything, and personalizing absolutely everything with stickers.
That’s the feeling behind Rewind Mystery Box.
We created Rewind for anyone who wishes they could open a box and be transported straight back to the ’90s and early 2000s.
So, what's a Rewind Mystery Box?
Rewind boxes are curated time capsules from your childhood.
Instead of filling our boxes with newly manufactured products made to look nostalgic, we hunt for the real thing: vintage and secondhand treasures from the decades we grew up in.
Depending on your box, you might find things like toys and collectibles, books and magazines, VHS tapes, DVDs, CDs, accessories, nostalgic pop-culture finds and other little pieces of the past.
The best part?
You don't know exactly what's coming.
That's what makes opening a Rewind box feel a little like being a kid again.
No Two Boxes Are Exactly the Same
We aren't interested in making hundreds of identical boxes.
Our inventory is constantly changing because we're sourcing real vintage and secondhand pieces. Something we find once might never cross our path again.
That means every Rewind box is curated from what we've discovered, making many of our boxes completely one-of-one.
Some pieces may show a little evidence of their previous life—and we think that's part of their charm. They've already lived through the era we're trying to remember.
The Nostalgia Is Personal
Maybe your childhood was Goosebumps, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and trips to Blockbuster.
Maybe it was Mary-Kate & Ashley, Juicy tracksuits, tiny purses and teen magazines.
Maybe you remember Tamagotchis, Beanie Babies, Polly Pocket, disposable cameras, CD players and sleepovers where nobody actually slept.
Different things unlock different memories.
That's why Rewind isn't just about finding old stuff.
It's about that split second when you pull something out of your box and think:
“OH MY GOD. I REMEMBER THIS.”
That's the whole point.
Welcome Back. ♡
We're just getting started.
Along with our original Rewind Mystery Boxes, watch for limited-edition drops, holiday boxes and special themed collections filled with the nostalgia we can't stop collecting.
If you grew up in the ’90s or 2000s, you belong here.
Welcome to Rewind,
Your childhood called. We put it in a box. 📼♡
